Remember Bonny on our Wedding Anniversary on 16 December
19 years ago, Bonny appeared at the front door of my flat at Blk 30 Tao Payoh with a bouquet in his hand. That was the day he courageously faced the whole community of the Pang family to come and fetch his bride. Though we are apart now, I remember his nervousness that day and admire his courage and love that overcame his fears. Remembering him today and the countless wonderful moments we shared!

Bonny praying by a river in Turkey
On 13 November, I attended a funeral service at Mandai crematorium Hall 1, the same hall where I bid my last goodbye to Bonny. It was the funeral of a sister who went with Bonny for a prayer walking journey in Turkey many years ago. In a eulogy given by one of her close friends, a picture was painted that she must be walking by the river of life in heaven. That immediate brought to my mind the picture below, which was taken by this sister, of Bonny praying by a river in Turkey. I thought to myself, when this sister meets Bonny in heaven and they walk along the river of life, I wonder if they remember their prayer walking trip to Turkey when this picture was taken.
Still miss this man whose intercessions touch the hearts of God and man.

Bonny loved Flea Markets
It has been a while since I last wrote on this blog. Besides being busy, I did reduce the frequency
of blogging with the intention to pace myself in letting go as part of the grieving
process. Though the frequency of posting
in this blog reduces and the intensity of the pain reduces, the remembering of
Bonny does not.
Several months ago in April, I found a row of flea market near my work place when I went for a morning jog. Finally I took pictures of it.

If Bonny were to discover that place with me,
he would have gone in to explore the shops one by one. Then we would have conflict if he were to buy
anything from there because there was really no space in our home for any more “karung
guni” stuff.
I must say that Bonny had
pretty good taste and he did bring back good stuff from flea markets or thrift
shops. It is just that we don’t have a
large apartment to keep them all. I
still enjoy a few of nice chairs and marble tables that he bought J.

Remembering Bonny’s Birthday at Bintan Nirwana Resort
I spent this morning at Bintan Nirwana Beach where Bonny and I
went in May 2006. Though there were some changes since we went almost 7 years ago, the same inclining coconut tree was still there and the beachfront suite which the hotel upgraded us to was
still there.
I took a picture of the eagle at the Ferry Terminal as I thought I did take one picture of him in front of the eagle. True enough I found this picture of his when I returned from the trip. I am glad to be at a place that brought sweet memory of him on his earthly birthday.

Four Years have gone by so quickly....
In all the world I shall not find a heart so wonderfully kind and tender, a countenance so pleasantly cheerful and bright, a spirit so amazingly simple and courageous, a love so magnificently beautiful and deep!
Though four years have gone by so quickly, my memory of Bonny is as dear today as in the hour he passed away.
My comfort and strength comes from knowing with certainty that he is rejoicing and enjoying himself in that glorious land with His Saviour and Friend--a place that he so looked forward to be in while he was here on earth.Though four years have gone by so quickly, my memory of Bonny is as dear today as in the hour he passed away.
Some day I hope to meet him. When that some day will be, I do not know. But that day will be the day I will clasp his big warm hand in that glorious land, never to part again! There we shall together enjoy the eternal presence of our Lord!

Remember the Last Cruise with Bonny at the end of 2009
In December 2013, I went for a 6-day cruise to Phuket with stops at Klang and Penang. This was more or less a similar cruise that I took together with Bonny two months before he was called home to be with the Lord. As I walked down the streets in Phuket Patong Beach, I remember the massage place that we went and the fun things that we did. It was hard not to think of all the "if only"s. However, I know that there are chapters that I need to close to move forward. Keeping the sweet memories and giving thanks for them and surrendering all the "if only"s will certainly blessed my Lord's and Bonny's hearts!
