I spend my birthday at Desaru Beach at the resort where Bonny and I used to go for short breaks. Though the resort has changed management and the rooms have been renovated, the beach and the swimming pool remain the same. Sat at the beach remembering how Bonny used to play with the waves, jump over them over and over again like a small playful boy...

Remembering Bonny as I remember my dad at his 1st death anniversary
Today is my late Dad's one year death anniversary. It has been a year since he entered the Land of glory into eternal peace and joy. As I remember my Dad, Bonny is constantly on my mind. This is a picture of both of them taken on 2009 Chinese New Year at a restaurant with the whole Pang family.
Remembering those wonderful times when both of them would communicate in Hokkien and joke with each other. Wonder what language they would use to communicate with each other in Heaven.

Bought a new Arowana -- Red Sky
After some reflection and searching for fishes, I have finally decided to replace "Sky" with "Gold Sky." Bought this arowana on 5 July and surprise to find out that the date on its certificate is also on the 5th of a month--5th August 2016. Appreciate the quiet company of "Gold Sky."

Bonny's Arowana passed away on 15 April 2017
Bonny's arowana passed away on 15 April 2017, a day after Good Friday. It was bought by Bonny way back in 2009 and the only fish that lived for this long since Bonny passed on. We didn't get to give it a name, but I always see it as "Sky". I had to bury it at the bottom of our flat with sadness.
I will deliberate for a while what I would buy to replace it as a fond memory of Bonny.

Remembering Bonny on his Birthday!
This picture was taken 11 years ago when we celebrated his 50th birthday. I wished I could have planned a surprise birthday party for him as he loved surprises. He really enjoyed the company and he loved the love and attention from his love ones. Just can't stop loving his childlikeness!

Boony went to His Heavenly Home 7 years ago...
On this day 7 years ago, Bonny was brought to his heavenly home. Memories of his faith, the joy and laughter
her brought into my life continue to enrich me.
I echo from my heart this quote by the late Dr, Leo Buscaglia,
“I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.”

Bought this Flowerhorn cichlid, Luo Han Fish, this afternoon in remembrance
of Bonny’s love for it. Naming it Boris
III (after the first Luo Han Fish that Bonny named).
