After some reflection and searching for fishes, I have finally decided to replace "Sky" with "Gold Sky." Bought this arowana on 5 July and surprise to find out that the date on its certificate is also on the 5th of a month--5th August 2016. Appreciate the quiet company of "Gold Sky."

Bonny's Arowana passed away on 15 April 2017
Bonny's arowana passed away on 15 April 2017, a day after Good Friday. It was bought by Bonny way back in 2009 and the only fish that lived for this long since Bonny passed on. We didn't get to give it a name, but I always see it as "Sky". I had to bury it at the bottom of our flat with sadness.
I will deliberate for a while what I would buy to replace it as a fond memory of Bonny.

Remembering Bonny on his Birthday!
This picture was taken 11 years ago when we celebrated his 50th birthday. I wished I could have planned a surprise birthday party for him as he loved surprises. He really enjoyed the company and he loved the love and attention from his love ones. Just can't stop loving his childlikeness!

Boony went to His Heavenly Home 7 years ago...
On this day 7 years ago, Bonny was brought to his heavenly home. Memories of his faith, the joy and laughter
her brought into my life continue to enrich me.
I echo from my heart this quote by the late Dr, Leo Buscaglia,
“I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.”

Bought this Flowerhorn cichlid, Luo Han Fish, this afternoon in remembrance
of Bonny’s love for it. Naming it Boris
III (after the first Luo Han Fish that Bonny named).

Remembering Bonny on our Anniversary
Remembering Bonny as I went to our usual Anniversary Breakfast place at Singapore Botanic Gardens this morning. It has been more than six years now since he left for his eternal home. Breakfast served was not as great as six years ago. Nevertheless, the place is still much the same except the minor renovation and the change of furnishing.

Bonny's Favourite Brand of Pants
I was walking around in a shopping mall and saw this shop with the big word "DOCKER." Immediately I told myself that Bonny would love to go in. There wasn't any Docker outlet in Singapore during the 1990's and I remember he bought a few of these pants from the States which he treasured a lot.
I can imagine what Bonny's reaction would be if he were around to see this shop:-)

The Lord is Near...

I went for my silent retreat at Blue Mountain Kelong at Riau Islands at the end of April 2016. It was the same place that I went at the end of July 2010, five months after Bonny departed for Heaven. It was a good time of reflection for me and reflecting on my grieving journey. The sea was still as blue as six years ago and the place was still the same except for some improvements made to the facility. The pain of not having Bonny around was still there though less intense. As I surrendered all to the Lord, He displayed two rainbows as a affirmation of my decision. The Lord was very close to me and wanted me to enjoy His presence and find peace and purpose while I continued to remain here on earth.
