Wilfred (Bonny) Khalil, an awesome man with a beautiful soul! 
Though nine years have passed, the legacy he left behind continues to impact and influence my decisions and life. 
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for bringing him into my life to enrich and bless me..

Remembering Bonny on our Anniversary, 16 December...

It is our "23rd" Wedding Anniversary today.  I am in Sweden at a friend's house.  This is the watch that I bought for Bonny as our Wedding gift and I bring it along with me for this Norway-Sweden trip.  Bonny would love to be in these two countries and enjoy the snows.  The photo is taken on the snow in front of the house.

He would have also enjoyed the Northern Lights that I saw on 7 December.  Yet again, i am sure what he is seeing now in heaven is much more splendour than these Northern Lights

Remembering Bonny in Singapore National Day Celebration season

The night before Singapore National Day, on 8th August of every year when Bonny was around, we would attend the Day of His Power--a night of prayer and blessing for the nation of Singapore.  I have always wanted to attend this event since Bonny left, but have found it challenging....   A friend sent me a photo of this year event, and I will always remember Bonny and his zeal in prayer and for His power....

Our Engagement on 2 June 1995...

Today would have been the 23 anniversary of our engagement....
I remember we had a small ceremony at the Renewal Centre where HighPoint was starting up...  Still wearing the engagement ring today....

The Coffee Shop...

Passed by the coffee shop thhis morning and remembered all those breakfasts that we took at that coffee shop...  Many of the stalls have changed operators....  Still wonderful memories...

8 years have passed...

It has been 8 years since Bonny went over to the eternal shore...  
The remembrance of his simplicity of faith, great sense of humour and warm personality continues to bring strength and joy to me and I am sure to those who know him.
The worship song that was sang yesterday at church struck a chord with me on how true it is that
"There is strength within the sorrow, there is beauty in our tears; And You meet us in our mourning, with a love that casts out fear.  You are working in our waiting, You're sanctifying us.  When beyond our understanding, You're teaching us to trust...  A day will come when we will be reunited on the other side of the shore -- the eternal shore.

Remembering Bonny on my birthday, 21 Dec 2017

I spend my birthday at Desaru Beach at the resort where Bonny and I used to go for short breaks.  Though the resort has changed management and the rooms have been renovated, the beach and the swimming pool remain the same.  Sat at the beach remembering how Bonny used to play with the waves, jump over them over and over again like a small playful boy...
